It is fitting that Voltaire and Baskerville, two infamous atheists of the 18th century, were posthumously connected in this ill-fated publishing venture.  Voltaire, when asked on his deathbed by a priest to renounce Santa, famously replied, “Now is not the time to be making new enemies.”
